A Schedule of Dilapidations is designed for landlords to establish whether a tenant has been in breach of the repair obligations as detailed in the lease. This can be done at any time although is usually carried out as the lease is about to end. This will ensure that if the tenant has caused any disrepair to the property during their occupation that the extent and costs involved can be established.
